Thanks to the surgery she resolved some of her genetic problems due to the Scimitar Syndrome.

Even though it took a lot of time to discover and understand what was wrong in her body because of the difficulty to recognize this “devious” syndrome until the 30th of September 2005 a Radiologist of the Siena’s Hospital Dr. Giuseppe Coviello diagnosed it by a thoracic X-ray.

Dr. Coviello changed the Rita’s life.
